Completed in November 2023, a joint project was carried out with funding from Acrezone, Rainham Steel, Sharp Skips, Stagecoach and London Riverside BID, with the remainder of the balance being paid by other estate occupiers.

The ditch was emptied and the culvert cleared and left running clear. A more robust road surface and kerb stones was implemented and is working well.

The BID team had been highlighting the deterioration of the road for over 10 months with the ditch to the side of the entrance blocked and causing water to flood the entrance to Albright as well as Ferry Lane North.

This project involved multiple responsible parties and strategic agencies with several meetings to put a plan in place.
