New LED Lighting – CEME campus
The board approved a project at CEME to co-fund the replacement of 20 existing halogen street lights with new LED lights. The decision to upgrade the lighting was prompted by the ongoing high cost of maintaining the existing lighting and the expected electricity savings from switching to LEDs. Grit bins / salt refill
The BID purchased a new grit bin that had been damaged in Ferry Lane South and have filled all the yellow grit bins around the BID area with salt in readiness for any bad weather.
