Tree Management and Maintenance

Tree management is an important part of the maintenance schedule for the beautiful CEME Campus, whose trees include Maples, Chestnuts and Ashes.  With over 40 large trees these can grow to obstruct walkways, car parking and signs, as well as cause damage to buildings, pathways and other infrastructure.

The BID has made a contribution to the year’s maintenance, which includes reducing height and lifting canopies to ensure continued safety for all visitors and encourage healthier growth.  Sadly, some tree removal was also required with a few trees falling foul of blight or fungal infections.  Regular maintenance helps to minimise the spread of such infections.
