The CCTV and ANPR assets managed by the BID form an important deterrent in keeping the industrial area safe and secure, and are an important tool in providing evidence to the Police when needed.

During 2024 and 2025 the following investments were made:-

1. Replacement cameras for obsolete or beyond repair kit at the following locations:

• Albright Industrial Estate
• Coldharbour Lane
• Salamons Way
• Lamson Road

2. New assets at Suttons Business Park to cover the middle section of the estate

3. Upgraded, replacement recording equipment installed at Suttons Business Park and Ferry Lane South

4. We also upgraded our ANPR  system with 4g installation, providing a better connection back to our security contractor’s office, who monitor all the cameras that are in direct line of sight.

Other cameras in the BID area are recoding at source with SD cards

Investment in these projects totalled £30,000.
